Reviewing archived properties
The Archive is useful for properties that no longer need attention but should not be completely lost.
During a long house search, many homes are reviewed and then ruled out. Some may be too expensive, too far away, too small, unsuitable in layout, missing important features, already sold, or simply weaker than other options. Archiving keeps them out of the active shortlist while preserving the search history.
This helps keep the Inbox, Interesting, Possibilities and Favourites groups easier to manage.
Keeping a property search history
Archived properties can still be useful later.
They can help you remember what has already been considered, compare old listings with new alerts, track changes in price or availability, and avoid repeatedly reviewing the same unsuitable homes.
If an archived property becomes relevant again, it can be moved back into the active search. If it is clearly not useful, it can remain in the Archive or be hidden from view.
The Archive helps turn a busy property search into a more organised record of decisions.
